ASHES OF GRACE

Death is a civic duty.

In the sealed arcology called the Cradle, death is administered, not final. When a citizen dies, the Bureau of Recurrence pulls their stored mind, grows them a new body, and returns them to work — memories intact. They call it the Grace of Continuance: the State's mercy, its proof that no one is ever truly lost.

You are the citizen whose death went wrong. You woke too early, before the Bureau was finished — and saw what the Grace is built to hide. The body is theirs to assign, life after life. What you remember is the one thing they are losing their grip on.

Part choose-your-own-adventure gamebook, part tabletop RPG — equal measures of the choice-books and the dice-and-character-sheets some of us grew up on. Build a citizen, grow the convictions and competences that outlast every death, and branch through ten chapters to one of 30+ possible endings. No two files end the same — every one is earned by what you chose, and what you refused to forget.
